Early Memorial Day

The other day during my lunch hour, I went to my mom and dad's cemetery. I cut the scraggly grass around the edge of the stone and added some patriotic flowers.

I hope they like it.... thanks for everything mom and dad!!

... and today is their anniversary... Happy 69 years!

Mother's Day/The phone call

For Mother's Day we all went over to Erin's room and gathered for "the phone call"! I was sad we couldn't Skype like we did at Christmas but it was fun to talk to Trent!

 There is a HUGE bag of gummy bears in Kristin's hands. Erin makes sure there are plenty of treats for us when we visit! She is the hostess with the mostess for sure!

 Braxon having a turn. Everyone had fun talking to Trent and he is doing great. His companion even got on the phone and said Trent is the best companion he had. I asked Trent how much he paid him to say that and Trent said I don't have money!!! I'm glad he is having such a good time and has such a good companion!

Home show!

Last Saturday Mike and I went to the Home Show. Saw some new stuff and some OLD stuff that will never go away... mops and cookware! Ha! We went to find bathroom ideas. It's REALLY time to finish remodeling the bathroom... got some good ideas and good fry bread!

Easter part two...

The Easter Bunny got carried away and hid 250 plastic eggs!! All filled with treats. Let the hunt begin!

 The Eggcountants start their job... to make sure the plastic egss are emptied into plastic bags and all the eggs are eggcounted for! It's a tuff job... but these are pros!

Easter part one...

We got together the Saturday before Easter for the annual yummy food and ginormous Easter egg hunt!

We always eat the yummy lunch first before the egg hunt!

 These have become one of our Easter food traditions thanks to Kristin.... Jello beans!!
